Ten ways to Shop4good

  1. Shop local – give jobs to your neighbours
  2. Shop long lasting – buy once, buy well 
  3. Save fuel – go shopping with friends or take the bus
  4. Save energy – like A star ratings and electric blankets
  5. Think end of life – repairable, recyclable and compostable
  6. Avoid packaging – reduce recycling and rubbish
  7. Minimise manufacturing – make, mend, buy handmade or second hand 
  8. Trim transportation – buy in bulk
  9. Buy organic – for food and textiles
  10. Shop less – make memories, give experiences and gifts of time
