The climate crisis can be overwhelming and difficult to process emotionally. I’m sure most people who care about the planet and are trying to raise awareness with their friends, family and communities have felt a sense of hopelessness.

Here is a link to a 1 hour webinar with which can help identify feelings of climate grief, loss and eco anxiety and some suggestions of how to help deal with them.

    Hi Sarah,
You are so right about the importance of coping with the climate crisis. Thanks for this link.

When I was talking to my grandchildren about this recently they knew about ‘2030’ being a time in the future by when we should have done enough to sort out the mess or it might be too late. When I did the maths with them and we worked out that it was only 8.5 years away…my granddaughter who is only 8 herself – cried.
Her siblings remember when their mother came home with baby Martha from hospital and realised that 8.5 years was not a long time.

I suspect that a lot of adults have not done the maths either.
